In these days police from 13 West African countries meet in Abuja to master issues like cross-border arms smuggling.
The presidents of Mexico and Guatemala, Mr. Calderón and Mr. Colom, stated in a joint agreement (see Coping with the Migratory Phenomenon, point 4) that they act upon arms trafficking at their border.
